Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has sold over ten million copies worldwide since its launch, From Software announced.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is officially one of the best-selling From Software games of all time.
The Japanese developer announced today via social media that this popular action RPG has surpassed ten million copies sold worldwide since its launch in March 2019.
Sadly, the developer did not provide additional details so we don't know the split of sales between different platforms like PC , PlayStation and Xbox.
One thing that we do know, though, is that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is now the third best-selling From Software game, behind Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3, which sold 20 and 10 million respectively.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has obviously been a major success for both From Software and publisher Activision. The game received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and players and is considered the best From Software game ever by many.
In terms of financial success, it's safe to say that it exceeded expectations by selling so many copies, so don't be surprised if From Software announce a full-fledged sequel in the near future.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
